On June 3, 2015, the Government of Quebec passed Bill 43 to incorporate the international concepts of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) into the current WHMIS, thereby amending Quebecâs Hazardous Products Information Regulations. In Canada, the disclosure of product hazard information and worker training is governed by WHMIS.
â
Now that WHMIS 2015 has been implemented, your company could receive a hazardous product with a label that complies with this new regulation at any time. This online OHS course introduces the new provisions and features of these regulations and describes how to apply them in the workplace to reduce the risk of accidents.
